I suspect that I am Gluten intolerant, and my doctor has referred me to a
specialist. From reading some posts and archives, I'm concerned that a
"regular allergy doctor" may not be qualified to diagnose me. His
letterhead says "Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology".

I don't know where to start checking him out. Should I ask him if he is
familiar with Celiac / Gluten intolerance? Should I ask him about the
specific tests required to diagnose? If so, which tests should I ask about?

Or should I simply skip him and find a doctor recommended from the list?

Does anyone have suggestions ?
