Wish I had more concrete answers.................I received TONS of
responses, most from people who are also curious as to why these
wonderful treats would contain gluten.

I have verified that they are made in their own cup with GF Ice cream
and mixed with the same spoon they serve it with. Some had questioned
weather M&M's won't GUARANTEE that they are GF since the crispy m&m's
may be made on the same production line........which then forced
McDonald's not to guarantee their product.

A few suggested that because the Oreo crumbs are kept in close
proximity, there may be a cross contamination issue at McDonald's.

Quite a few people have told me they eat them with no problems.

I guess we'll each have to weigh the odds on this one. It would be so
sad to think yet another choice is taken away from us!!!
