Hello Listmates,

I hope you are having a fabulous summer. I live in Connecticut and we are
having one of the best harvests ever. I've been hopping from one local crop
to another, just like the little rabbits that are trying to outrun the
farmers in our gardens and fields. But, unlike those pesky bunnies, I
gather my produce and take it home to savor where they cannot follow.
Earlier this summer, I picked local strawberries that inspired the
Berry-licious Strawberry Layer Cake
<http://glutenfreemakeovers.com/2012/07/berry-nice-strawberry-cake/> on my
blog, Gluten-Free Makeovers. Now the peach crop is ripe and it, too, is
heavenly. Take a look at the Peach Cake

Rite of Summer, I made this week. It's a variation on a yummy recipe I
created for my cookbook, Gluten-Free Makeovers.
