Join us for a very special meeting of the Westchester Celiac Sprue
Support Group,
Sunday, September 21st, from 12:30-4:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Phelps
Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Dr. Peter Green, M.D., Director of the Celiac Disease Center at
Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center will be our featured speaker,
starting at 2 pm. Dr. Green will provide us with an update of his
most recent celiac research activities.

The national expansion of the Gluten Free Restaurant Awareness
Program (tm) is underway. But we need funds to continue the
expansion of the restaurant program in the tri-state area. So we are
hosting our first Gluten-Free Bake Sale and Gluten-Free Coffee Shop.
We are counting on your participation!

The Gluten-Free Coffee Shop will open at 12:30 and feature flavored
coffees and other beverages along with a selection of Gluten-Free
goodies for sale. After Dr. Green's talk, you are invited to visit
the Gluten Free Bake Sale and purchase freshly baked gluten-free
items to take home with you. We are asking you to please bring at
least one freshly baked gf item (it's okay to use mixes) with you to
the meeting. You will receive one free $1 off coupon good for $1 off
any bake sale or coffee shop purchase for each bake sale item you
donate. Please bring your gluten-free baked goods wrapped for sale
(bags of six cookies or four muffins or whatever) and a 3x5 card (one
for each bag, please) listing all the ingredients in the item. We
would greatly appreciate your help in this endeavor, particularly if
you could let us know in advance if you are bringing one or more
items for the bake sale. E-mail Sheila Charbonier at
[log in to unmask] or Elyn Rosenthal at [log in to unmask]
with your information.

We hope you will feel welcome to join us. No reservations are necessary.

If you would like more information about the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support
Group and/or driving directions or Metro-North train information, or
if you have any questions, please
contact us at [log in to unmask] or call us at (914)737-5291.

Thank you

Chris & Mike Spreitzer
