I confirmed with Market Basket today that their brand of vanilla ice cream
is gluten free.  I also received a reminder email stating "Vanilla comes
from vanilla beans, which have nothing to do with grains. It is often
extracted using alcohol. but everyone now knows that all distilled alcohol
is GF. So plain vanilla ice cream has to be safe."
