Got a good suggestion from my pharmacist when I was reseaching whether
claritin was gf--ask the pharmacist at the drug company about other
forms of the same drug.  Claritin CAPSULES are lactose based (a problem
for me) but their quickly dissolving TABLETS aren't. The liquid version
contains sugar, a problem for diabetics.  The drug companies do not
often volunteer information as to other forms of the same medications,
you must ask.
