Of all the responses to my request for information on over the counter
antacids, the majority recommended Rolaids.  Also mentioned were Alka Seltzer
Gold, Gas-Aid, Liquid Gaviscon, Equate from Wal Mart and Eckerd's.

I did received a few lectures on the dangers of antacids and some suggestions
of homeopathic remedies.  Several people suggested using probiotics.  I do
not have a continuing problem, just an occasional one and I needed something
easily transportable in my purse, for that once in a while.  I have tried
probiotics and did not find them especially helpful.

No one suggested Tums but a couple of people requested I advise them of the
status of Tums.  I guess they still are NOT GF or people would have suggested
them.  Thanks to all.
