Now is the time to sign up to attend the Blood Screening Day meeting of
the Houston Celiac-Sprue Support Group on Sunday, September 24, at
Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest, noon to 6 p.m.

Dr. Alessio Fasano, co-director of the University of Maryland Center for
Celiac Research, will be presenting "Celiac Diesase: How to Diagnose and
Treat a Clinical Chameleon" and our physician advisor Sheila E. Crowe,
M.D., of UTMB, will be speaking on "After the Diagnosis, What's Next?"

People who either attend the meeting and/or participate in the screening
need to make a reservation with the Registrar Gerry Mase
(713/461-5731).  The charge is $20 per person, or $50 for family of 3
and over.

We are excited to be participating in the University of Maryland Celiac
Prevalence Study.
