>It would be interesting to meet someone who has allergies to all nuts. Most
nuts are totally unrelated foods. They have different protein structures.
Most allergies are to a few food families, or to selected food(s) within a
family.<

Believe me it is possible to be allergic to diffent nuts. Even before Celiac
diagnosis, anytime I ate something that contained Cashews, Almonds,
Hazlenuts, Pecans, Walnuts I would get occular migraines, where I lost
partial vision in one eye for approx 10 minutes and then got a headache that
I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Other allergies but not as severe-
If I eat any of the following assortment my throat get's severely itchy and
my tongue becomes dry and semi swollen:
Peanuts, Soy products, Pumpkin and Sunflower Seeds- by the way I get the same
reaction to most fruits, especially melons, peaches, apples, pears, plums,
avocado and sometimes watermelon. I also get the same reaction with certain
raw veggies such as carrots, and string beans

The only other items that have ever given me occular migraines are Sulfites
and MSG

To be honest, I always had a question in my mind if somehow it had to do with
sprays and pesticides especially regarding fruits and vegetables since it
does not happen every single time I eat them???

Interesting enough, my mother reacts the same to most of the above but does
not have Celiac Disease.

Go figure.
Best Regards,
Leslie
