Anybody in Los Angeles that is in need of a passover cakes or cookies that
are gluten free should run over to Schwartz's Passover Bakery at 431 North
Fairfax. Anything that has a label on it that says "potato starch" does not
have matzo meal and is gluten free. I bought almond horns dipped in
chocolate, cookies, and they have several kinds of sponge roll cakes in
various flavors, chocolate, apricot, raspberry. The special Passover bakery
is only open until 2PM today, and then again April 7-9 from 9AM-6PM. Then,
that's it until next year. They only bake these things once a year, and
they're quite good!
