If I understand recent postings, it would seem that the only concern is
starch. According to the chemists at various pharaceutical companies to whom
I've spoken lately, we also have to worry about where the other ingredients
come from....i.e. various alcohols, cellulose, and various multi-syllable
tongue-twisters. I'm afraid I still vote for calling the companies. While
we're at their mercy, it lets them know we exist.
