I have two children with Celiac, a 7 year old and a 3 year old. The 3
y/o was diagnosed first due to persistent GE reflux a height loss on the
growth scale. We started his GF diet and he is doing well and eating
like a pig now. My question is about my 7 y/o daughter. She has Down
syndrome and, after my son was diagnosed, we had her tested and weren't
surprised to find her test positive (no biopsy, only bloodwork). We
understand CD is not uncommon in Down syndrome and she has had for quite
some time a "phantom" stomach pain. Since we put her on a GF diet, she
has become much more cooperative and seems to be thinking much more
clearly.

Has anyone had that experience themselves or in their kids?

Thanks in advance for your help.
