  I'm just curious. . .

Does anyone know why some people do not react to cornstarch,
  but react to wheat flour?

I found a great New England Clam Chowder that a local restaurant makes with Cornstarch & Buttermilk instead of Wheat Flour & Reg. Milk. I tastes great and I don't have any Brain Allergy reactions to it. YES! :o)

I'm also allergic to corn. So I'm a bit confused as to why I'm not having any reactions... But hey, I'm not complaining. I'm just happy I've found my New England Clam Chowder. It's only served on Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm. So, I make my weekly visit to "Steak O'Rama" on 2nd Street--located in Belmont Shore,CA--to order 9 bowls of soup to-go w/o croutons.

Then when I get home, I check all of the containers for croutons--because sometimes they forget--and seal them back up to put them in the freezer for later on in the week.

What a delightful snack/meal a bowl of New England Clam Chowder made with Cornstarch, Buttermilk, Potatoes, Celery, and Chunks of Clams makes!!! :o)

  Just thought I'd share.
I'm still curious, as to why I'm not affected by Cornstarch, when I'm allergic to both Corn & Wheat............rather ALL GRAINS, for that matter.

  Any thoughts are appreciated. :o)

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

  Respectfully,
                       Ona :o)
