sorry to take so long to summarize but here's what I found out about triple sec

celiac.com has a GF alcohol list.

1 lister suggested:  www.glutenfreedrinks.com/alcohol/beverages   (although I found only drink recipes, baked goods for sale, and some funny stuff)

several lister's said vodka made from potatoes, wine, rum & tequila are all GF.

1suggested it's orange liqueur from dried orange peel, 1 person said they reacted to triple sec, 1 person never reacted to triple sec.

Finally, Wikipedia    -   says triple sec is a liqueur made from dried orange peels.
