What obviously happened here is that Christina made an honest mistake. She
red the ingredients, which are listed thus:

"0.625 mg: Each maroon, oval, sugar-coated tablet imprinted with "Premarin"
contains: conjugated estrogens CDS 0.625 mg.

Also contains lactose, methylparaben, propylparaben and sucrose. Energy:
4.19 kJ (1.0 kcal)/0.625 mg. Sodium: <1 mmol

  (0.0001 mg)/ 0.625 mg. Alcohol-, gluten-, sulfite- and tartrazine-free.
Bottles of 100 and 1 000."

It's easy to read this as meaning that there is gluten in Premarin, but
what it actually says at the bottom there is that Premarin is Alcohol-free,
gluten-free, sulfite-free, and tartrazine-free. The hyphens after each word
above carry it over to the end because the last word is also hyphenated. So
Premarin is actually gluten free, they just don't make it that clear on the
website. -vance

Damn! I do all this research and reading and I still don't understand
anything. I just notice that I am now confused in much more complexity than
before :)
