I've had a couple of responses about the rice malt I mentioned in the Mrs. May's Products. One said rice malt is rice & barley and the other one mentioned that it's on the forbidden list at celiac.com.

I have written to their web-site for assurance. I don't want to sound naive, but it seems that if they went to the trouble to put gluten-free on their packaging that they must've done research. If by their response, we find out they're wrong, this could present a batch of trouble for us.

I will let you know what their response is. Believe me, if it turns out there's barley in their rice malt, they're going to get a good chewing out.

;-)
