Several expressed concerns about contamination either at the facility producing Sugar Care in bulk, or at the kitchen where the product is used. Thanks, I had not considered that. Still others agreed that even if GF, sugar substitutes can cause major digestive problems.

Best of all, one listmate sent me information obtained from the web on Sugar Care, and the manufacturer's email address. Hormel does not list Sugar Care on their GF product list. (Isn't it great they have one?) However, all of the products listed were standard items, not sweeteners, etc, so I asked again about Sugar Care specifically and have yet to hear, but I feel more and more that the problem was the Sugar Care, either because it's all artificial, or does contain gluten, or was contaminated with it. Thanks to everyone. Nancy in So. Oregon
