Hi, Listmates.

I just want to pass along a lovely experience I am having with Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe. I'm going there in a couple of weeks to attend a professional conference. A few meals are included with the conference, and the Lodge's special events coordinator and chef is going out of their way to make wonderful gluten-free meals for me. Either the chef was already aware of celiac, or someone checked out the particulars above the info I provided, as quite quickly they offered, "chef will prepare your food separately so as not to have cross-contamination." Also, on one night our conference is having a dessert party, and to accommodate me and make me feel welcome, the chef is preparing flourless chocolate cake. Just too cool.
