The next meeting of Alamo Celiac, GIG® in Austin 
is scheduled for April 18, 2007 at 7 p.m.  THE 
MEETING LOCATION HAS CHANGED.  The meeting will 
be held in the gym of FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6600 
WOODROW AVE.  Woodrow Ave. runs parallel to 
Burnet Rd.  It is east of Burnet and north of 
Koening and south of Anderson Lane.

Our speaker will be Katie McGovern from McGovern 
Organics GFCF Delights.  Katie and her sister 
Meagan make wonderful GFCF prepared meals and 
desserts.  They also teach cooking 
classes.  Their menu states “We only make foods 
that we love and that are better than any other 
version we’ve found. We wouldn’t offer second 
best”.  The meeting will give us an opportunity 
to learn more about them, how they cook and sample some of their specialties.

Please bring a gluten free snack to share.  It is 
important that included with each snack is a 
listing of ingredients.  Some of our members need 
to avoid more than just gluten.  If the recipe is 
either original or has been changed at least 3 
times, please bring the recipe.  We can publish 
these recipes in the recipe exchange section of our monthly newsletter.
