In response to recent posts about DQ french fries:

In Canada, the fries themselves are OK - they are actually coated in rice
flour, not wheat flour. The issue that doesn't seem to have come up yet is
cross-contamination. You must check with each individual DQ restaurant to
find out where they cook their fries. Many cook them in the same oil as the
breaded chicken nuggets. The manager of my local DQ said he has no program
in place to prevent corss-contamination, and in fact, could not always know
for sure, which products had been cooked in which oil fryer.

Janice.
