Below are two Celiac Conversations that will be held this month in
teleclass format. These provide information that is helpful to people
living with celiac disease and those who support them. These teleclasses
provide a forum for persons to talk with one another about how they have
coped with these life situations. There will also be time to ask
questions concerning the topic. As a life coach Kathi Griffin supports
people in working through life issues that present a challenge to living
the life they want.

Celiac Conversation: Taking to the Road for Vacations, Conferences, and
Sight-Seeing
Vacation time beckons us to move beyond the familiar and venture to the
unknown of seashore, mountains, theme and amusement parks, the distant
family, conferences, camping, and hundreds of other interests that call to
us. “’Tis summer time and the livin’ is easy” says the old song. For the
person with celiac disease being on the road and away from home may not be
so easy. How do you find the meals you need in restaurants or buy the
food you need for cooking when you are in an unfamiliar place? During
this interactive teleclass (group conversation on a conference line) we
will talk about how to get the information you need, calling before you
arrive, when and who you talk to, and packing a survival kit to get you
through any crisis. There will be time for you to ask questions and share
things you’ve found helpful. The teleclass will be held at two times:
Thursday, June 9, at 3 pm ET and Tuesday, June 14, at 8 pm ET. To
register for this teleclass go to www.celiacsupportcoaching.com and click
on the teleclass date and time. Information concerning conference line
will be sent after registration.

Celiac Conversation: Developing an Attitude for Living Successfully with
Celiac Disease
You are following the doctor’s orders, eating as your dietician has
outlined, reading informative celiac websites, and finding support at a
local support group. After several months, you’re clearer about the
reality that this diagnosis and diet and daily details are for the rest of
your life. At times you ask yourself, “How can I continue to do this?”
During this free Celiac Conversation, we will discuss five attitudes that
can help you get what you need to live successfully with your celiac
disease and stay healthy. Along with this information, this interactive
teleclass (group conversation on a conference line) will include time for
you to ask questions and share things you’ve found helpful. The teleclass
will be held at two times: Thursday, June 23, at 3 pm ET and Tuesday,
June 28, at 8 pm ET. To register for this teleclass go to
www.celiacsupportcoaching.com and click on the teleclass date and time.
Information concerning conference line will be sent after registration.
