Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I called the Hershey Co. to ask about the gluten status of
their Jolly Ranchers candies.  I was told that the natural and artificial
flavorings are purchased from an outside source and that Hershey didn't have
the information.  I was told that they would call the supplier and find the
information for me and call me back.  As this has happened many times in the
past with other companies, and I have never received the return phone call, I
didn't hold my breath.

I was pleasently surprised this morning when I got a phone call from a Sue
Harris at the Hershey Co.   She told me that she checked with the supplier
and that Jolly Ranchers candies ARE gluten-free.

To verify, the number is: 1-800-468-1714.   If you do call her, please let
her know how much we appreciate her efforts.
