A friend of mine paid good $$ (reg. price $70) to a website,
www.glutenfreeclub.com, that offers GF information to members. Now the
friend is unable to contact the site.

The website is a miracle of modern marketing ... unfortunately, I believe
most of what is offered there is readily available, totally free, elsewhere
on the internet.

I have done a little investigating & am concerned that this might be a scam.
It was not easy to uncover, but the website is hosted through a real estate
investment co. run from a P.O. Box in Cochrane, Alberta. The domain name
for the website hoster was registered by an individual in Ottawa, Ontario.

Now, it is possible that the Gluten Free Mail Club, as it is called, is just
a startup enterprise that is having trouble with its email. However, the
fact that they provide only a defunct email for contact, yet seem able to
take your money, is not a good sign, IMO.

If anyone has had experience with this group, please reply & I will
summarize, including apology if my suspicions prove to be unfounded.

Thanks in advance for advice and/or info.
