Hello all!

I just thought I should let you know about the most wonderful
outside-the-home dining experience I've had since going GF June 3rd.

I took the advice (and most of the letter) provided by Lisa Spivack in
her June 4th post about eating in New Orleans and sent the chef a fax.
The restaurant is called The Palomino and the phone number is (317)
974-0400 and the fax number is (317) 974-1865. The Head Chef's name is
Matt Lane. If you let the person you're making the reservations with
know that you'll be sending Matt Lane a facsimile about your dietary
restrictions, it should all be well-coordinated. The first time I went
both my server and Mr. Lane were well-informed about my diet. Mr. Lane
had researched the ingredients to the various dishes offered on the
regular menu and had written out a list of those items which would be
safe for me. I had my choice of two appetizers, four entrees, and two
desserts.

It felt like Christmas.

If anyone has any questions, please ask.

Sincerely,

Rachel Luke
Lafayette, Indiana
