Hi all, I had noticed that no Progresso products were listed in either the
recent CSA or the Michigan support group GF food lists. Since I'd used their
products in the past, I decided to call their "800" number. I talked to a
consumer rep, who said that because of frequent changes in their product
formulas, they had decided to no longer publish a list of their products'
status. She stated that if there were any gluten containing ingredients in
their products, they would be listed on the label. And she seemed very
knowledgable as to what the gluten offenders were. Apparently they have "17"
known "allergies" they have to deal with, and it would be impossible to
publish lists for every one.

So, it's good to know that some companies seem concerned enough to be specific
in their labelling (and the rep said that they would never list anything as a
"natural flavor" or other mystery substance.) Just thought I'd share this
info with you. Cherry Marshall in N.J.
