My daughter (age 14) has a chronic skin rash which the Dermatologist said is an
allergy and she should outgrow it in a few years. That was 2 years ago and
she is becoming very self-conscious about it. It is not DH (my mother has DH
so I know what it looks like). This is small bumps (not itchy) on her face
and upper arms.

She does not have celiac. When I mentioned to the Dermatologist that I had
celiac he did not feel there was any connection. I plan on her having the
blood test done but we need to wait since she recently had mono.

I'm sorry if this is a bit off the subject. After seeing so many doctors
when I was trying to get a diagnosis I have really lost my trust in doctors.
I really don't know what to do about this. I tried taking her off milk for a
few weeks but it didn't help. Allergy testing never seems to help.

Any thoughts? Please e-mail me at
