A couple of years ago, Baskin Robbins published a flyer indicating that
many of their products were gluten free, specifically those that did not
contain words that would normally signify gluten products, i.e., "cookie,
pie, cake."  I have happily indulged this treat (despite a lactose
intolerance).  However, the last time we picked up some PRALINES 'N CREAM
in the pre-pack freezer, the ingredients were listed on the lid, and of
course MODIFIED FOOD STARCH was an ingredient in the carmel!
 
Here's the question:  have they changed their recipes, or did they ever
really understand what is required of a gluten free product?
