Hi all--I posted on Saturday letting you know that Fridays was going to
try to "make it right" for my 9 yr old celiac dtr to be able to eat
there.   So, they hosted a "birthday party" for her last Sunday.  It was
TERRIFIC!!!!  They set up an area of the kitchen to be clear of all
cross contamination and prepared MANY GF foods for her.  They were aware
of all the necessary steps.  it must have worked because my dtr felt
fine afterward and we had a wonderful meal.

They are working with their marketing and R & D department to see what
they can do on a nationwide basis.  They were able to handle it be cause
they had time to prepare a kitchen and all the necessary cooking items,
ahead of time, because they knew we were coming.  Their concern is the
patron who shows up and wants GF.  Will they be able to expeditiously
cook and serve that person?  Or do they dedicate an area of the kitchen
to be GF???  And can they set up a different menu?   So before I can
post anything affirmative, we have to wait to see what they can do to
accommodate celiacs.

But I do know this, they got quite an education the last several weeks
as well as an increased awareness.  And they are working very hard not
to lose the celiac community's business.  I believe that they will come
up with some sort of a program.
