It is a lovely evening at Chicken Paradise in San Antonio, Texas.
(www.chickenparadise.com) The grandchildren have been in the pool several
times today, including again after supper, right before dark. The scents of
the blooming roses perfume the air around the pool. The passion flower vine
is blooming profusely, and the bougainvillia are brilliant in color. The
gulf breezes prevent it from being too warm.

Mr and Mrs Peacock are sleeping in separate trees tonight. Sometimes they
do that. I wish they would explain why. The mother hen has her 14 baby
Aracaunas tucked underneath her all snug for the night.

Our Bed and Breakfast guests here from a cold northern state are tucked into
their bed too, and I hope the Mrs. is dreaming about her breakfast for
tomorrow. She has to avoid gluten, dairy, yeast, nuts, fruit and sugar. We
plan to prepare her a fresh omelet with vegetables, cooked collard greens
from our garden, cut up raw vegeys, scones made without dairy, sugar or
gluten, sulfite free bacon, black coffee, and her husband will get the
extras, like fruit, juice and homemade jam. We love to spoil our guests and
cater to their dietary restrictions.

Our website has been tweaked a little, and a map has been added. If you
haven't looked at it lately, take a peek at www.chickenparadise.com and
think about planning your trip to San Antonio. We have 12 days of Fiesta
coming up at the end of April, and still have vacancies. Sea World and
Fiesta Texas are open on weekends, and will soon be open on a daily basis.
The Riverwalk, the Alamo and the zoo are open everyday, year round.

Chicken Paradise is kid friendly, and we look forward to your visit.
