I would like to thank everyone who responded.

These are the responses I received:

1) 10 People recommend Dr. Peter Green @ Columbia (212) 305-5590. He
only accept Oxford Insurance and the first office visit will cost $450.
He is also listed as one of the top GI doctors for Celiac Disease in the
New Yorker Magazine.

I also found out that Columbia has Celiac Meetings for patients. The
next meeting is in November. You can call Dr. Green's office for
information and you can attend even if you are not his patient. One
person responded that Dr. Green uses a very experienced lab
http://www.prometheus-labs.com/ Some labs miss the diagnosis. This lab
seems to specialize in this.

2) One person recommended Dr. Robert Santero - an internist/ General
Practitioner @ Flushing/Great Neck. (516) 773-3030
Was able to diagnose Celiac when many specialist are unable to do so.

3) One person recommeded Dr. Mckinley @ Lake Success 516 622-6076

4) One person recommeded Dr. Peter Glassman @ 37th st. 1st Ave. (212)
490-0008

5) One person recommended Dr. Lester Salwen @ Brooklyn Heights (718)
834-2050 was able to diagnose Celiac even though patient came in for
something else. He was right on
target.

I would like to thank everyone for this information.

Thanks
Liz

P.S. Anyone who has Celiac Disease should have a bone density test. I
just found out that I lost 21% bone density in my hip area. Hopefully
going GF will stop further damage.

*Please provide references to back up claims of a product being GF or not GF*
