Thanks to everyone who responded! Tito's Tacos is actually in Culver City
not Santa Monica (sorry about that!). I called them today & the woman I spoke
to said that she believes their beef tacos and their tortilla chips are GF
(yay!). She said they do not fry anything with wheat in the lard that they
fry their corn taco shells and corn tortilla chips in. She also said that she
would NOT recommend the bean tostada because it comes from an outside vendor
& she does not know anything about it. I also sent them an email just in
case I received any different info in writing. (I haven't heard back from them
yet, but if they tell me anything different I will post another summary.)

One listmember has eaten at Tito's without problems:

If you are talking about the little house like building on either Pico or
Olympic next to Bed, Bath and Beyond, I do eat there trouble free. I eat there
shredded beef tacos, beans and rice and salad. I have checked them out and
we cannot eat the enchiladas as they contain wheat in their sauce. They are
still delicious and inexpensive.
