I know this may sound gross ... but I think it's why so many people
don't get help ... because they don't want to speak the unpleasant. But
anyway ...

?What are normal bathroom habits?

You don' t have to get into intimate details. I know that they vary by
person, diet, etc. But, my 2 1/2 year old son (my celiac child) had
squishy poops until I took him off wheat. I always thought they weren't
right, but I I didn't worry much as my other child is chronically
constipated. I thought the looser stools just might be another phase of
normal. Anyway, once gluten-free the poops were more like my normal
bowel movements. However, from time to time they seem to revert a
little.

?Last night we had two formed stools ones that floated and were yellow-y
green and then some squishy stuff. This seems to be a bad thing,
indicative of something? However, he didn't have his usually "accidental
gluten" behavior problems. Hmmmm ... though I do remember him hitting me
(a gluten-ingestion behavior).

I'm wondering if his gut has healed enough that his symptoms of
accidental ingestiong are less obvious?

I feel like I'm paranoid about diet ... but I don't check every little
detail as I see many do on this list. And we eat hot dogs and hamburgers
(sans buns) from various restaurants without asking about gluten. ?Is
this a dangerous thing?

It's only been six months for us and I'm still trying to figure this all
out.
