I don't have any egg nog recipes. However, I can tell you of two
GF egg nog brands you can buy.

In a letter dated Aug. 8, 1995, Land O'Lakes, Inc. states that the
only products they have containing gluten are frosted butter cookies
(obviously) and certain flavors of ice cream. One of the products
they make is egg nog, so it should be gluten free. The letter is
signed by Shelley Colvin, Senior Specialist. (How's that for a
non-descriptive job title?) Contact information:

   Land O'Lakes, Inc.
   PO Box 116
   Minneapolis, MN 55440-0116
   (800) 328-4155

Incidentally, a follow-up phone call on 8-29-95 with Cheryl verified
that annatto coloring is GF in Land O'Lakes products.

The other brand is Kemps, which is produced by Marigold Foods, Inc.
In a letter dated June 20, 1995, we were sent a list of all the GF
Kemps products. Both Egg Nog and Holly Nog (whatever that is) appear
in the GF list. The letter is signed by Jacy R. Wald, of Customer
Relations. Contact Information:

   Marigold Foods, Inc.
   2929 University Ave. SE
   PO Box 9481
   Minneapolis, MN 55440-9481
   (612) 331-3775, Fax-(612) 378-8398

I hope you can find your favorite holiday drink!
