On Wednesday, Feb. 18, members of the American Celiac Task Force will
meet with staff to Connecticut Reps. Nancy Johnson and Chris Shays.
Both are well respected for their views on health care issues, and
their support is needed for H.R. 3684, the Food Allergen Labeling and
Consumer Protection Act. The celiac community wants these legislators
to be leaders, and cosponsor H.R. 3684.

Connecticut Celiacs please send an email message to these members
urging support for H.R. 3684. There are several ways this can be
done -- go to www.capwiz.com/celiac  -- Click on 'Elected Officials' ;
at the US map, Click on CT. (then follow instructions). The other
option, go to www.house.gov/nancyjohnson/ or to www.house.gov/shays/
and send a message directly from the lawmaker's homepage.

A blitz of emails from constituent celiacs just before these meetings
will help us in educating the staff about the CD, and the labeling
issue.

Thanks,

Andrea Levario and Allison Herwitt
