The quarterly meeting of the San Antonio Celiac Sprue Support Group will
be held this coming Monday, 13 November, at 7 pm at Covenant
Presbyterian Church, 211 Roleto Drive (just past Northwest Military
Highway on the 410 West access road).

Our program will be two videos. The first is a segment on celiac disease
that was shown on the PBS program Healthweek. The second is "Taking the
guesswork out of gluten-free flours", a presentation by Bette Hagman at
the Gluten Intolerance Group Conference last May.

We will also have a Holiday Cookie Exchange. Everyone can participate,
but if you prefer not to, that's fine-just be sure to come to the
meeting to see the videos.  This exchange is for homemade cookies only.
Please do not bring cookies you have bought at a store for the exchange.
Bring three dozen cookies to exchange. Take six secure seal bags (such
as Ziplock) and place six cookies in each bag.

Tape a label with the cookie recipe on it to each bag.

Bring an extra copy of the recipe for the newsletter Recipe page if the
recipe is original or has been adapted by you to be gluten free.
After exchanging the bags of cookies, each participant should have six
different kinds of cookies to take home.

We encourage you to bring any extra cookies leftover (beyond the 36 for
exchange) for our usual gluten-free goodies tasting.
