Thanks to the list-mate who pointed me to the Smithfield website. And Kudos
to the customer service folks at Smithfield who answered my e-mail within an
hour! I forward their response below. I will be glad to purchase from them
in the future! Lynn Robbins

Dear Ms. Robbins:

Our hot dog products are gluten-free. In fact, most of our products are
gluten-free, with only a few containing gluten. Those products containing
gluten are listed below.

Honey Glazed Hams (Wheat flour in honey mix.)
        Honey Glaze - Packets
        Honey Barbecue Flavored Products
Precooked Beef Patties, Cheeseburger Patties, and Bacon Cheeseburger
Patties
Precooked Entrees (Beef, Pork and Chicken)
        Stuffed Pork Chops
Lykes Brand Red Hots (Sausage Product)

I hope this information is helpful. We thank you for choosing Gwaltney and
Smithfield.
