Had a wonderful experience this weekend eating out in Rhinebeck, NY,
USA. We had a family get-together (my mother's 70th birthday) at a
restaurant called The Beekman Arms. I called ahead and explained about my
son's celiac, and they gave me a list of gf items on their brunch buffet.
In addition, they assured me that if I had any concerns, they would be happy
to cook portions individually (and they did). (I have no financial
interest in the restaurant, am just pleased and astonished by their
concern).
