     CSA Greater New York City Celiac Support Group Chapter  #20

                             On Monday, October 24th

There will be another dinner gathering and since we had such a successful
visit to Sambucca Restaurant (20 West 72nd St-near Central Park west) at the end
of last season We`ve decided to try it again and hope that you will join us.

Meeting:  Monday, November 7, 2005

Time:       6:30-8:30 PM

What:
We again welcome gastroenterologist Dr Charles David Gerson to speak to our
group. His topic will be :" A Celiac Update".

We request a $5.00 donation to help defray expenses.(room rental, mailings,
etc.)

Where:
At the Seafarers & International House, 123 East 15th Street. The building is
on the Northeast corner of  Irving Places and 15th St. the room is on the
second Floor and it is accessible by elevator.

Subway station is Union Square/14th St.-Lexington Ave and BMT lines and IIND
cross-town line. Bus-Third Ave uptown or Second Ave  downtown and a cross-town
bus on 14th Street. There are several parking garages in the area.

It is sad to have to report that our chairwoman,Dunnie Chenal, passed away in
her sleep at the beginning of September.
Her family (two sisters and between them eighteen nephews and nieces) live in
the Midwest, and they had arranged for a private Catholic mass that was held
on Saturday, October 8th.

Dunnie devoted a great deal of time to our Support Group, and was also
interested and active in working on programs that help Awareness of Celiac Disease.
                                  She will be much missed.
