PLEASE BRING A BOOK WHICH HELPED YOU LEARN TO COPE WITH GLUTEN INTOLERANCE,
WHEN YOU WERE FIRST DIAGNOSED. We will share book titles and authors when we
introduce ourselves. Choose a book which describes how to live gluten free,
rather than just includes gluten free recipes.

COCONUT BLISS: This new vegan frozen dessert product (vice cream?) is free
of dairy, soy, gluten, and refined sugars, except one variety (Mint Galactica)
which has soy lecithin. Whole Foods carries this product in their freezer
section. See _http://www.coconutbliss.com_ (http://www.coconutbliss.com) for
more information.

NEWLY DIAGNOSED SURVIVAL KIT: a 23 page packet by Connie Sarros. I will have
more information about this survival kit.

NEW CELIAC GUIDEBOOK: Celiac Disease: A Guide to Living with Gluten
Intolerance - describes how to live fully and richly while maintaining a gluten-free
lifestyle. Not only does it advise readers how to set up and maintain a
gluten-free kitchen, but it also provides strategies for tackling emotional
issues, nutrition and dietary guidelines, handling dining outside the home, and
parental advice on raising a celiac child. This book was co-written by a nurse,
a dietician, and a clinical pharmacist. The authors diverse backgrounds
ensure complete and clear information on all aspects of this disease, including
symptoms, diagnosis, management, complications, and current research. The main
author, Sylvia Llewelyn Bower, RN, has celiac disease and has practiced
nursing for 43 years.
