/s</ul> thanks for your responses. here's a summary of suggested places where
people have had success and understanding in san diego.

claim jumper(california quesasillas-no ranch salsa-, steak-no shoestring
onionrings-, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes-no gravy-, widowmaker
burger-no bun-, nachos, salad bar, and a dessert scoop of ice cream or a
banana shake which is not on the menu but they will make it for you. you can
ask for corn tortillas instead of the usual bread options. DO NOT order the
potato skins-they are fried ,they are very helpful.

tony roma, all sauces are gf and they are known for their ribs.

fish house vera cruz(for seafood), cheesecake factory, wolfgang puck, karl
straus brewery, old town mexican cafe and bazaar del mundo in old town were
all suggested without specifics.

"DON"T even try rockin' baja lobster. they don't have anything gf!"

when i return from san diego if i have found any others that are worth
mentioning i'll send a posting.

marlene
