The converse question of Downs Syndrome and CD is: If Downs Syndrome
children are so much more likely to get CD than the general population,
then does untreated CD in mothers have a tendency to be a factor in the
development of children born with Down's Syndrome?

Just a question, since as far as I know, we do not have an answer for Downs
Syndrome, other than it is more prevalent in older mothers. (Perhaps my data is
outdated) If there was a correlation, then it might be an added incentive for
my untested daughters to get checked out before having more children. They
don't seem to feel it is a priority for themselves, but are very conscientious
about their children's welfare. Carol in Nj
