It is impt to remember that just because a product is "gf" does NOT mean that it doesn't contain gluten.  The FDA allows products that contain 200 parts per million of gluten to be called "gf"  ....I got into a large argument with Dr Atkins about his protein bar which contained oat leaves and which he called "gf".  His answer was that the FDA rules stated that he could and that was that.  I thanked him for his concern about celiacs. No response to that.

So.....when you call a manufacturer, you want to ask IF IT CONTAINS ANY GLUTEN...not if is gf.  Big difference.
