    I caution against reading too much into this but here is one example of
a study that shows 2 probiotics reducing the damaging effects of gliadin(
the protein in wheat). http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18422736. Keep
searching pub med and there are others.  I could not find any that discussed
whether probiotics help the healing process. I don't even know if these
strains are on the market.  I am curious if Dr. Fasano's new book addresses
this topic as I know much of his research involves the intestinal flora. I
am not a scientist and even they are just tapping into this tip of the
