"I am curious to know if any of the adults have an autoimmune disease
other than celiac"
I hope that you all don't mind me replying to the list rather that the
author but I might have some information that might useful to all. If
you are not curious about addison's disease then skip to the bottom
where I put some links.
In response to the above question, I have addison's disease. There is
more than one type of addison's disease. The most common is auto immune
addison's. It is one of those "rare ones", 1 in 100,000 chance of
getting it. Basically addison's is adrenal insufficiency. I have had
it for approximately 1 1/2 yrs., during which time I believe that I also
should have been diagnosed with CD. Only when I found a new doctor that
was proactive and new what he was doing did I get diagnosed with CD. I
got that wonderful news on the 26th of December 1997. I have been on
the gluten free diet now since that day and I feel better than I have in
about 3 years.

for...like "addison's".
http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/rxlist.cgi Not really addisons related but
you can search for any prescription drug by name. I've seen a lot of
?'s about prescriptions on this listserve.
Anyway, take care.
