Hi,

I received mostly positive responses to my posting regarding the List of Pharmaceutical Companies Summary and Addendum.

Below are some additional comments that I have received since then.

Happy GF Living!!!

There is one other thing you can do --
If you know the manufacturer (which you can get from the package insert at the
pharmacy; even if they won't give you the pkg insert, they can let you look at it
and write down the mfr. info and ingredients), then you can go to the internet
website for the product and you will find the current prescribing information and
often the package insert posted on the web. Then you can scrutinize the ingredients
in order to ask more detailed questions of the manufacturer's people.

We are compounding most of our daughter's meds because she has soy and corn
allergies and they are hard to avoid in many preparations.

I have been using some of the numbers you posted to the group. I have found one correction. The number for Procter and Gamble is NOT 513-942-7344. The correct number is 1-800-448-4878. I just wanted you to know and maybe spread the word. Thanks. Diane

Just wanted to let you know that watson did contain gluten and that was with two different medications. I switched to Malinkrodt. I have not checked again since November but I had to dump quite a few pills. The two medications caused pretty bad Celiac reactions and there was nothing else new in my diet.

In addition to those sites listed to obtain GF drug lists, I have an entire list of all GF Walgreen's products that the pharmacist there printed out for me.
Mine has a heading that reads: WALGREEN'S GLUTEN FREE PRODUCT LIST
