I just called Proctor & Gamble yesterday to recheck the gf status of
Metamucil.  All their products (metamucil) are gf except the wafers.  I take
it often (always travel with it).  My gastroenterologist says everyone should
take it every day - "like a vitamin for the colon".  And he was one of our
support group's medical advisors for several years.

P.S.  Don't take too much the first time - start out with small doses - it
can be constipating
