Dear Listmates -
I have no financial interest in this place.
I just came back from visiting my mother in L.A. -
in the Beverly Hills area.

A new Indian restaurant had opened since my visit of
last September. It is called the Akbar, at 3rd & La Cienega,
in a little strip mall on the southwest corner.

Avoid the Naan bread (also called Nan bread) or anything
breaded or fried. I tried a luncheon special - In fact, I tried a
different luncheon special each day for 3 days. I substituted
Sag Paneer - spicy spinach with chunks of homemade cheese -
for the lentils that come with lunch.

My favorite luncheon special was Akbari chicken - Chicken
in a cashew sauce. I had no reactions to anything I ate there.
