Thanks for the prompt responses. I love this listserve.  7 people 
responded to my inquiry about rye grass being planted in the lawn.  I 
would say that the consensus was that there is no problem.  Almost all 
grass seed mixes include rye grass and rye grass is a different species 
than the rye, the grain celiacs must avoid.  So, I believe we are ok 
with the lawn as planted.
