Dear Listmembers:
A dietician friend who has a column in a local "free" paper (The
Carolina Woman) has volunteered to write a column featuring celiac
disease. The column would describe the disease and the diet and then
include a number of gluten free recipes (her columns are usually an
entire newspaper page). I think this could be excellent publicity for
CD and the gluten free diet. In fact, some of you in other areas
might want a copy after it is published so you could try to have it
(or a more condensed version) reprinted in a paper in your area.
If you have creative ideas on what this article might say or what
recipes should be included (gluten-free baked goods which are "better"
than the wheat-laden versions?), please contact me. If you want a
copy of the article after publication, send me your name, email
address and snail mail address.
