I travel a lot, and I wanted to add a comment to the recent posts from
Naomi and Hal about gluten free food on Northwest Airlines. I suggest that
no matter what the airline and no matter how good their gluten-free food is
reputed to be, travelers with celiac disease should carry their own food.
If your flight is canceled and you're put on another plane, or if the
airline suddenly changes the aircraft, or if you miss your connection, your
gluten free meal will be on one aircraft and you will be on another. Better
to bring food along and have too much rather than none at all.
